    Bapayya directed Waqt Ki Awaz, a 1988 Indian action drama film. Mithun Chakraborty and Sridevi appear in the flick. In supporting roles, Moushumi Chatterjee, Kader Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Ranjeet, Gulshan Grover, and Asrani appear. 

    The film was a commercial success upon its initial release, becoming the sixth highest-grossing film of 1988. The film was a remake of Khaidi Rudraiah, a Telugu film.

    The Story of the Film

    Her widower father’s wishes are violated when Lata refuses to marry the similarly affluent Rajan, the second son of Sikanker Lal Thakkar, her father’s business partner. 

    She walks away from home, and her father finds her living with a truck driver named Vishwa Pratap and his beautiful sister, Lakshmi, not long after. She is adamant about not returning home. 

    She informs her father that she intends to marry Vishma rather than Rajan. She quickly comes to regret her decision when she learns that Vishwa has been imprisoned for the murder of a man named Billa and may have to spend the rest of his life in prison or be executed.

    Soundtrack 

    The film’s soundtrack was well-received, particularly the song “Pyar Chahiye Kitni Baar,” sung by Alisha Chinoy. The soundtrack includes Kishore Kumar’s most recent tune. 

    It was recorded a day before his death and is a duet with Asha Bhosle. “Guru Guru, Aa Jao Guru” is the title of the song.
