    Ganga Jamuna Saraswati: Plot of the Movie

    Thakur Hansraj (Amrish Puri) is a greedy guy who murders his brother-in-law, forges his sister Bharati Devi’s name on property papers, and seizes her property under false pretences.

    Bharati Devi’s son, Ganga (Amitabh Bachchan), ends up becoming a truck driver after swearing to avenge his family’s wrongdoing.

    Jamuna jumps into his truck one day to escape from the capture of a goon. Due to a roadblock, Ganga is forced to come to a halt.

    When it begins to rain, Ganga seeks cover at a nearby lodge, pretending to be in a relationship with Jamuna. When the goon returns the next day to forcibly remove Jamuna, Ganga engages him in a fight. When Jamuna falls into deep ice, he accidentally has sex with her while attempting to provide her warmth.

    Ganga is sentenced to two years in prison for assaulting Thakur’s son. Thakur sends his henchmen to assassinate him when he returns.

    A blast occurs at the bridge, and Jamuna and her child both tumble into the river. Ganga saves his child but is unable to locate Jamuna.

    Jamuna, who has lost her memory as a result of the fall, finds herself at the home of singer Shankar (Mithun Chakraborty), who knows her from a qawwali performance she gave and falls in love with her.

    To care for his son, Ganga enlists the services of Saraswati (Jayaprada), who falls in love with him. The rest of the film follows Ganga and Jamuna’s reunion, as well as Saraswati and Shankar’s roles, as well as Ganga’s mission to seek revenge on his Thakur uncle.
