Imarti Devi is an Indian leader and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. She served her duties as Minister of Women and Child Development in the Madhya Pradesh Government when Kamal Nath’s Congress government ruled. She was a minister from 2018 to 2020. After that, she served under Shivraj Chauhan’s BJP government from July 2020 to November 2020. Political Career
Imarti Devi began her political career in 1997 by serving for the position of Sr. Vice-President of District IYC, Gwalior.
From 2004–to 2009 she was a representative of District Panchayat, Gwalior.
In 2005, she served as the chairperson of Block Congress Dabra.
However, in 2008, she was nominated to the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly for the first term election. She finally received re-nomination in the 2013 assembly polls.
In 2018, Imarti was sworn in into the Kamal Nath cabinet as Public Health and Family Welfare minister in Madhya Pradesh.
In the 2020 Madhya Pradesh political disaster, Imarti Devi supported Congress minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. And as a result, she was one of the 22 MLAs who resigned from the post of minister.

Imarti Devi was born in 1975. She was later married to Puran Singh Suman. They have one child, a daughter.

In 2016, Gwalior sessions court ordered Imarti Devi to visit court, as she was charged for harassing her nephew’s wife for dowry.
After that, she got an acceptance for staying in-home on the proceedings by the High Court, and eventually, she was discharged from all the charges with the support of her Advocate Yash Sharma.
Currently, she is serving in Bharatiya Janata Party as a member.
